July 2011 - Another Successful Norm Wall Booster Club Golf Tournament

July 8, 2011 - Norm sent the good weather again this year for a fun and profitable Captain and Crew 2011 Norm Wall Memorial Golf Tournament. The Captain (Rick) and Crew (Sandy and Linda) would like to thank everyone who helped out with or participated in the 2011 tournament. We would especially like to thank our Local Business Sponsors, because this tournament's success lies with the outstanding support we get from these local businesses. Newfield Boosters Celebrate the Grand Opening of the New Concession Stand and Field House

Three and a half years and more than $65,000 (Booster Club share) after the fire that destroyed their concession trailer, the current boosters, booster alumni, teachers, and community all gathered on the hottest day of the spring to celebrate the grand opening of their new building.

In addition, the beautiful brick patio was "unveiled", with names of supporters carved into the bricks, along with a large trojan head. Cookies and water were served, tours were taken and everyone was smiling. The new building is beautiful and the locker rooms are spacious and colorful.

In late October, 2007, a fire destroyed the concession trailer that had been home to the Booster Club concessions for many years.
